What's the objective best way to cook eggs?

Anyone saying scrambled is a child btw

You eat them raw

I don't think there is an objectively best way to cook eggs, but maybe a plain classic french omelette. It showcases multiple delicious textures an egg is capable of, while being simple enough to actually taste like eggs.

In a frying pan with 3 tablespoons of olive oil on medium high over easy. The egg cooks beautifully without burning in literally under a minute. Season with salt.

Older brother was scrambling eggs in a makeshift double boiler, really more of a Bain Marie. Wish the video was longer so you could see the results.

They are excellent, and the sibling rivalry is the most class act I've ever seen.
going back for moar...
I was sure there would've been rending of garments and gnashing of teeth over the teflon by now though . lel, It was the '80s after all though; nobody really knew. Hell, microwaves had instructions on how to shield parts of food with aluminum foil, as if cooking a chicking in a microwave was ever a good idea.

I love the story they tell about how their favorite food when they were young was eating a freshly hatched egg raw by poking two holes in it and going to town. Sounds gnarly to many people, but the roux brothers were game changers back in the day. Really makes yah think.

Thanks for that, I'm hooked. While I knew about 75% of what they're showing, it's a pleasure to watch masters. As to the egg sucking, there was a youtube video I watched a few years ago about the quick and painless dispatching of hens. The young woman in the video while dressing it, removed the eggs inside and sucked a few right there. Perhaps a bit shocking for those who've never raised their own food, but I'd imagine,(and absolutely would try it,) that they tasted like pure energy and sunshine.
AhA! Found it!

I call them half-poached eggs. You melt a solid amount of butter in the pan then crack your eggs and cover it with a fitted lid on medium-medium low heat. The eggs thicken up and sort of poach but not really. Makes the whites fluffier and the yolk encased in a layer off egg white but thinner than if you flipped it over. Idk
