Most restaurants have higher item prices on their menus for doordash/uber eats, etc. For example, if I order directly from a sushi place near me, one of their rolls is $5. This same roll on uber eats is $8. This is before checkout, so not including the tax and fees. I dont know why they do it, ive seen a lot of restaurants do it. Maybe they dont like dealing with third party delivery services so they try to dissuade customers from ordering thru them by having higher prices.

For what its worth, ive only ever used doordash or ubereats with coupons to make my orders free. I live in an area with a lot of restaurants nearby and they all do their own delivery, so theres really no need to use a third party service.
