All the shit on top I just burn. its gone in an instant.

The plastic bottle shit is nasty though. I have found legitimately vintage plastic containers from before I was born on my property. Its frustrating but I am also guilty of having shittons of plastic shit (even though I dont buy bottled water/drinks in general and I reuse plastic food containers for other things like planter pots)

It's still fucking gross.

I pick up garbage when I camp and take it out with me whenever possible. No reason not to, I want my camping spaces to not be full of human refuse, just nature. My hand rolled cigarette butts do not take 10 years to degrade though, it's literally just some paper and plant matter. Pack cigarettes last longer because of the cotton filter, which absorbs nicotine and can be harmful to dumb birds who pick them apart for nest fill.

Corporations that mass produce these harmful products should not have been able to shift the burden of recycling on the American consumer. Recycling is a scam in most states and we would be better off canceling the whole thing and outlawing those types of plastics in our products.

Im not sure which America you live in where you have complete freedom of choice when it comes to consumer products. You buy whats available, industry dictates whats available. Sure people should be more independent but you can see why industry plays a role in this when one lives in suburbia and only have close access to a Walmart.

Oh my god, imagine having to make something for yourself, or maybe even identify gaps in supply and demand and start operations to fill them. What a crazy world that would be where people interacted with their world in an adult manner, or contented themselves to take what they could get if they didn't feel like assuming that risk and responsibility.
Insane!

I pick up trash when I walk the dog down by the beach because I don't like looking at trash and some of the half-dissolved cans could hurt the dog's paws if she stepped in the.

too bad they are pretty much on life support in america/canada, the service is so abd and car companies are so jewish that it created a feedback loop where they are overpriced and underutilized and underfunded, really sucks, I live on vancouver island and we don't have any trains any more at all despite there being multiple lines operating less than 50 years ago.
