He Is getting full of himself. It went from a guy that enjoys learning about food to someone that thinks he is reinventing the wheel.

just like babrash, he's becoming full of himself. he was already borderline insufferable when he was just cooking, but once he built that croissant roller and changed his channel name to just Alex it was like he (or his agent) suddenly thought he was the next alton brown and was some sort of chef/inventor genius he went full on unwatchable
