How do you spice/sprice/gussy up your rice?
I plan to make white rice, then mix in butter and sugar. Heard it is comfy

Couple teaspoons of Osem chicken consoome per cup of uncooked rice, and 1tbsp olive oil in the rice cooker. I used to make sabzi polo but can't be bothered anymore. If you do have the willpower to make persian rice, make sure the tahdig is potatoes and not rice. that version is much better. If you want a real recipe for the chicken broth rice, search "hainanese chicken rice".

This is just me--ginger powder, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and some chicken bone broth.

1 cup of rice
1 1/2 cups water
add in butter,
salt,
pepper,
a garlic clove,
pinch of whole rosemary.
Bring to boil then turn down to low-medium and simmer, COVERED, for ~15 minutes.
Then fluff rice well, put towel on top, put lid on towel to hold it in place, let sit for 10 minutes
Then add sriracha sauce & sweet thai chili or whatever else I feel like.
Done on the stove of course.
