I have a wild craving for one like once a year, have it, and then I'm done. It's not bad, but it's also not delicious either. I have the same problem with the McRib.

There's things I genuinely really like on the McDonald's menu and would eat every day if they didn't make me a huge fatass, like the Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, nuggets, Egg McMuffin, Sausage Burrito, and hash browns, but shrug on those two items.

your taste is shit. maybe it's because I'm in coastal australia (meaning relatively fresh deliveries) and we have more strict food laws, but the fillet of fish has genuine, well, fillets of fish. it's mostly cheap stuff like whiting though.

also for americans complaining that it's mushy - is it because it's processed offal or because it's cheap shit like catfish? because I've tried catfish once and the texture was mushy and gross. maybe that's why your mcfish burger sucks. because here, the texture and taste is exactly the same as the cod/barramundi/whiting we'd get at a seafood market/fish n chip shop.
