Hot sauce is incredibly reddit. It's just not that good and it doesn't go on that many things, and it almost always overpowers the dish. The only place for hot sauce is on literal poverty tier frozen burritos and shit. It's kind of like bacon in that people go nuts for it (or pretend to for the tribal feels) but it's actually a really one dimensional and not enjoyable thing.
