Pescatarians, in my experience, are just bitchmode vegetarians who have convinced themselves "fish aren't animals" so that they can continue to eat meat without losing their label.

It’s literally the healthiest diet. Also the most sustainable from an environmental impact standpoint.
You will literally never find a better diet to prolong an incredibly healthy and low-impact life.

I think it's the most based of the restrictive diets. I ate like that for a month and it was fine. I love meat but I sometimes think to cut it out for health reasons as I have bad cholesterol and tend to get overweight easily.

Eat your meat, eat your vegies. Just eat whatever the fuck you want, but don't force your shitty beliefs on others.

No real problem with it, only the people who try to shove their diets and ideologies down my throat. When did it stop being acceptable to just present options with a bit of evidence?

I had a vegan roommate who would just occasionally hint that he lost weight and gained ambition after giving up eating and wearing animals. I never gave up anything, but I'd spend a few days or weeks at a time eating vegetarian or vegan, and I adapted a few of my recipes to not use dairy, eggs or meat so the tree humper could join us for dinner.

Any genuine seafood source will give you the best of the best fish, thats dumb enough to get caught in a net.

Go for fresh fish, but if you can not avoid it frozen is still better than eating anything that grew up in a mass storage farms and husbandry.

The fish's diet would be comprised of everything there is under the sea. Vitamins, minerals etc.

Also avoid getting fish from aquaculture, no better than penned in animals.

In the EU you are required to print fishing zones onto the packaging. Its obviously some tiny text in some corner somewhere, so you might have to scan for it.

Retarded. At least vegetarianism has options, it's not as bad as it used to be thanks to restaurants and grocery shops from cultures that actually took the time to evolve a vegetarian cuisine rather than shitty imitation meat (Indian, or to an extent, Mediterranean cuisines like Italian). If I wanted bacon that badly, I'd eat bacon, not some faggy fake shit.

Also if you live 10 KM or less near a coastline, there is no reason to import fish from anywhere.

Then you might as well eat the shit they're trying to sell you. And you'll be happy.

cattle is sustainable, you fucking idiot.

Cattle farts are bad for the environment (methane) and red meat causes colon cancer.

Vegans don't eat any meat for other reasons besides the ones I listed.

I eat chicken, fish, and port, no red meat.

>> No.16153796

it’s ok but fish is expensive, and fish are animals just like cows so I don’t get that angle if it’s an ethical thing. fish have mercury and shit too, so i don’t really understand it. i guess it’s cringe when you think about it

>> No.16153835

Meh. I mean, I tend to have more tolerance for pescetarians than vegetarians or vegans, but there's still a lot of problems with that diet, what with mercury poisoning and parasites being an issue. If you fish your own food, that's pretty cool, though.

I think the West, especially the USA (only using as an example since I'm from here) is too obsessed with meat, though. You don't need to eat it for EVERY meal. Heck, you don't even need it every day. Your diet should, ideally, juggle a combination of plant-based protein, fish, and white meat. Incorporate the very occasional red meat dish to lower your risk of iron deficiency.

Also, try to get your meat from an ethical source, if possible.

>convinced themselves "fish aren't animals" so that they can continue to eat meat without losing their label.
Yes, it's completely retarded. People still buy into myths like "fish can't feel pain" and somehow think it's morally superior, when in fact entertaining ideas like that just make you a retarded psychopath.

If you think THAT'S bad, wait until I tell you about coal power plants and how governments around the world are decommissioning nuclear power plants to build coal ones. This whole "cows produce methane" scare is literally just a distraction from the things that are actually harming the environment and directly killing people.

Are you talking about the 10 years of methane in the atmosphere that ends up coming back down? Or the CO2 that does the same?

I mean, we shouldn't be raising ANYTHING on the massive industrial scale we have been doing for the last 100+ years. But that would mean getting rid of all cheap restaurants and shitty unnecessary processed food.
