What drinks are best for this kind of vibe? I mean sure he drinks and drives on $10 wine but I always got Creme De Menthe, Jagermeister or peppermint schnapps impressions from this paranoid but paradoxically comfy scenario.

If we stick with wine I honestly feel like he'd be drinking mad dog or night train. Maybe white or even dark rum out of a water bottle or something.

to add on to this I feel like his character would drink inexpensive liquor he perceives as classy but with a cloying taste or conversely something cheap, powerful and harsh but that he thinks is "concealable" in public
