When I make spaghetti and meatballs I make the meatballs out of 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 ground pork, add breadcrumbs, seasonings, a bit of Italian salad dressing and 1 box of frozen spinach
I squeeze as much water from the thawed spinach as possible (harder than it sounds!), chop fine and add to meat
I take 2/3 of the meat and make meatballs and put rest in sauce
The spinach makes it much harder to make the meatballs, they want to fall apart, but holy fuck it's great when they are cooked

I have a non-stick egg pan in which bacon or other meats are not permitted at all.

The egg pan is several years old and is just as non-stick as when it was new. If you wished, you could cook eggs without butter and slide them around in the pan.

As I understand it, the reason why non-stick pans lose the non-stickiness is often because the proteins in the meats getting sticky when heated up and ruining the pans.

In any event, when I cook bacon, I prefer to cook it in the oven, not in a pan.
