>what are Boston style baked beans
Brown sugar and molasses are primary ingredients, canned or scratch-made. It’s literally the recipe.
You can buy other forms of canned beans.

I still eat these and am debating having them instead of ordering takeout since I don't feel like cooking real pasta tonight.

my dad would cook picrel "goulash" which is just tomato juice, ground beef, and stewed tomatoes heated up with spices and elbow noodles and then brag about how good of a cook he was. my mom would cook spaghetti sauce from a can and add some onion to it and pretend like she was a master chef as well.

I happen to like the small white beans I had in Texas at a barbecue place. I believe they are of the same variety as used in Boston Baked Beans, but without the sweetness. There were bits of vegetable and pork meat in the cauldron (It was a serve yourself as much as you care to eat) and meant to compliment the food you'd bought from the pit guy.

if you can afford some land you can afford a mortgage on a mobile home and throw it on some land. if you look around you can find some land with a shitty trailer on it that's already got a well and electrical drilled and run, so you just have to have the old trailer dragged away and the new one dragged in to replace it. If you're adamant about it you can even start building a small cabin by yourself. you can also live out of a camper while you build your house which is what my grandfather did.

Scotland here, we had a similar thing growing up, except it was made by mixing bolognese sauce and ground beef into mac and cheese. It was actually quite nice despite how basic it was.

My mom used to make this and I would enjoy eating it. I think that what I must have liked was that it was sweet because of the sugar in the ketchup she used to make it. Now, as an adult, I dislike ketchup.

I was raised by a single father who had a good job and knew how to cook well, which he taught me.

My mom had mental health issues and was on welfare, When I was visiting her she would make Kraft Dinner and "spice it up" by mixing in ketchup.

I am thankful every day that my father was the one who raised me.
