What's your favorite sushi?
What's your favorite sushi restaurant?
Do you make sushi for a living, if so where do you work/worked, and did you get into it?
Are there any techniques you use to make sushi you would like to share?

If you would like to give informative links about sushi I will include them in the next general.

Yeah, I make tuna/cucumber/avocado rolls at home. It is good and worth it, sushi is so fucking cheap to make. $10 will make more sushi than my braphog gf and lardass self can eat

why is japanese cuisine so hilariously bad?
the main staple dish of nipponland is sushi which is literally just fish on rice
their curry is just watered soup
ramen is just inferior version of authentic Chinese noodles
even instant noodles is taiwanese (Chinese) and not from japan

why could the nips not make a satisfactory cuisine?

I'm just not poor I guess, $15 gets enough tuna for like 10 sushi rolls which is a shitload. It's way way cheaper than a night out or buying sushi from a restaurant or even the grocery store.

What's the most amount of sushi you've ever eaten in one sitting? I distinctly remember one time I went out with some friends and we got pic related, plus another small plate that I didn't photograph. The best part is that there was a couple at the table adjacent to us, and they were smirking and giggling when the staff brought out the first plate. They were dead silent when they brought out the other two.

It took us some time, but we managed to eat all of it. We were set on sushi for a few weeks after though.
Near the end there was one single salmon left, and we all kept staring at it, unable to finish it. The problem was if we left anything, we had to pay the whole order's a la carte price instead of the all-you-can-eat rate. After what felt like an eternity of silent debate I ended up stopping one of my friends and shoved it in my mouth. Good times.
