ITT: we pay tribute to the humble frozen pot pie sold in American grocery stores

It's an entire warm meal straight from the oven and only a dollar.

Say "thank you pot pie". Thank you pot pie.

The only good thing from banquet is their fried half chicken. I could eat that non-stop. I don't care if it's trash.

I only get the Banquet turkey tv dinners, as the apple sauce is pointless and takes up the spot for the mashed potatoes, which are then put in the same space as the salisbury steak (or meatloaf) and turns into a runny potato soup.

Protip: Broke is shopping at the most expensive store you can afford as a habit. You don't stay financially healthy by shopping at the Gucci store every day, friend.

Also, what fucking middle-eastern shithole are you from that you don't know what a Dollar Tree is?

You don't stay physically healthy by shopping at the Dollar Tree, or at Dollar General or at Walmart by and large either. Certainly not by purchasing and reheating factory food entrees.

So, pleb, you keep eating your garbage. Grow old quickly doing so, develop long term food based illnesses and die about 20 years sooner than you otherwise would, with a quality of life diminished in the last 10 to 15 years you actually hang about.

As for me, I'll keep shopping for fresh ingredients at the farmer's market, eat meat when it suits me, avoid soy, excess salt preservatives and so forth.

You go be you. Yay cheap ass pot pies.

I'd never eat that, but I love seeing how people survive. It's interesting to me. I suppose my version of that would be macaroni and cheese combined with frozen mixed vegetables (heated first, of course) and a can of rinsed black beans. You can also replace the mac with cheesy rice or even cheesy potatoes. I guess it comes out pretty close to what you're doing minus the crust and add beans.
