The food so good for the price that they ban bringing other food in. A menu centered on salty stuff and big cokes so that you can get a sexual thrill out of holding in lots of piss. The whole audience collaborating in a trying-to-eat-quietly ASMR soundscape. I love it.
The pandemic forcing new release streaming was worse than the deaths. If people have a different option than the theater nobody will go and we'll lose a treasured experience forever.

I’m afraid it can’t compete with the gas station roller-grill dog’s slightly aged patina and soft leather casing. I have to go with non-hotdog items at a movie.

>>16084870
The theater I used to go to also had the thickish liquid chilli sauce for nachos/dogs. So I always liked a 50/50 mix of the chilli/cheese for my nachos, and add some of the ranch dust in >>16084887

Damn, it only costed me $20 to watch a shitty movie that I can't pause while obese smelly people sit next to me, eat loud snacks, cough the flu directly into my face, look at their cell phones at maximum brightness, talk at the characters on the movie, and belly laugh at unfunny jokes. I enjoyed the time I was trying to watch Iron Man 2 and the projector blacked out for 10 minutes. But I think the thing that I miss most was getting my shoes stuck to the floor in people's spilled sodas and childrens' vomit.

Boy, it would be a real shame if movie theaters all closed and never re-opened.

I can honestly say I miss nothing about the movie theatre experience. It's very stressful for me, especially the prices, then having your friends eat loudly next to you because you didn't buy anything. Then the movies go out of their way to be psychologically manipulative instead of just entertaining, often they're not even entertaining, just violent and generally oppressive to life and art. I think the last good movie I saw in theatres was Eyes Wide Shut, and that was a long, long time ago.
