This is the recipe I'm gonna use, because I've made it before and it was delicious.

>3/4 cup Butter
>1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
>1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
>2 large Eggs
>1 tablespoon vanilla extract
>1 teaspoon baking powder
>1/2 teaspoon salt
>1 cup coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
>1 cup white baking chips

And here's for the civilised people:

>170 g butter
>320 g brown sugar
>180 g all-purpose flour
>2 large Eggs
>1 tablespoon vanilla extract
>1 teaspoon baking powder
>1/2 teaspoon salt
>100 g coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
>170 g white baking chips

I've used salted butter and it came out even better.

Oatmeal raisin cookies, take two. First attempt they failed to flatten, remaining in ball form. Flavor was decent. I might've overworked the batter. No machine, all by hand.

My entire immediate family lives in a different state, so I can't do anything for her until I visit in the summer. These look good, though, and I would like them for myself. If I can get someone to make these for me, I can see how difficult it is for the inexperienced in baking. I cook a lot but stay away from baking.
