here's my aeropress for retards guide.
Buy espresso-ground coffee, like lavazza or illy, maybe bustelo.
1 scoop
fill completely with boiling water. stir only a bit to make sure there are no dry clumps of coffee.
put the plunger on top, to seal the chamber which will make dripping stop.
wait 60 seconds.
press steadily.

It's an inconsistent guide without nuance or precision like weighing or using freshly ground coffee. But if you want to really get into learning to make the BEST cup, leave the aeropress for something else. On paper, the aeropress should be able to make the perfect coffee with all the control it gives you, but it never works out for me. Been trying different guides and techniques for years, I'm ready to abandon it.

These things might be a meme but I just got one and coming from a Mr. Coffee it's still a big jump. I'm just following the directions on the box, when I tried to find videos on YT it was all hipster faggots which should have been a red flag to me in the first place.
