Bahn mi is my favorite. The marinated pork, pickled veggies, and cilantro are great, and there's a place i used live by that had a deal for bahn mi and a side of pho. Miss that place.

Been a Chicagofag my whole life and have had 4 different Italian beefs all drowned as is tradition. I am completely disappointed and believe that the sandwich is overrated and its status nothing but a mere cope by Itali-Chicaofags not being able to surpass their 1930

I completely agree that they are over rated but they are good on occasion. Now if you want to talk underrated chicago that would be the various places around town that have surprisingly fucking good al pastor tacos
