i think the biggest issue with bacon is that it's a processed cured meat which has been shown to give you a small increase in your risk of colon cancer, and that'll affect turkey bacon as well.

it doesn't really taste that good though, the texture is a bit off because it's chopped and formed instead of a whole piece of meat like pork bacon. i think less people believe that fat is bad these days too so it being a low fat alternative won't matter as much.
