When you're high you really can't taste or smell that well, at least to a point where you'd be able to discern complex flavors so might as well just get him some candy bars. I ate a lot of the Hershey's cookies and cream bars when I used. His sugar cravings will be through the roof if he's on methadone. If he's sick, he won't be eating and he'll be trying to steal your money so just leave a few small bills like anon said so he can get his fix and he won't bother looking for more.
