There is plenty of flavor anon. What you do is not add anything until after the noodles are done boiling. Drain most of the water, then add the packets. Put it back on the burner for about 30 seconds to a minute, mixing vigorously. The flavor is so much more concentrated and the heat is exceptional. It's the only way to enjoy this.
