Here’s the order. I’ve tried the cravings box a couple of times with the crunchwrap – but the crunchwrap was smaller than a fritos burrito on a bad day [*F*]. I’ve always felt that chalupas are like IPAs: why get a single when double and triples are the best thing on tap?

Taco bell was awesome in the 90s. I remember eating there after a night of drinking. I was able to get full with the change in the ash tray in my 1983 Olds station wagon.

Oh man, back in the day it was all about getting baked out of your gourd, hitting up the all-night taco bell/ gas station combo for a couple of those chili-cheese burritos and a large mountain dew, then stopping by the arcade with ashtrays bolted to the machines for a couple games of Tekken Tag Tournament and Gauntlet Legends.

Taco Bell is (was) the last bastion of actually cheap fast food, but they threw it all away. I haven’t been to an Arby’s in 15 years, but they used to have daily bogo deals in the paper, and they were a really good deal – it still wasn’t very good. Just 10 years ago Wendy’s set the benchmark for what a dollar menu should look like. I used to get their jr whatever burger, a baked potato, a cup of chili, a small fry, and a caesar salad, and that was a veritable drunken feast for $5. (Yes, if you were drunk enough to go sweet you could also get a frosty to dip your fries in, but I’d usually dip my fries in the chili and then dump whatever was left on the potato.)
