I lived on eggs in college and about 10 years later same thing happened to me. Could eat a hard boiled but not any other. It passed after about 15 years and I can eat eggs now again with now ill effect.

i developed an intolerance to a protein egg white that got worse over time to the point they now make assume the fetal position and agonize for a few hours only to get up to shit and puke at the same time
my doctor said it's not unheard of and it will probably resolve itself in 10 years
