Is there actually anything wrong with diet soda? People always say that diet soda drinkers are somehow deluded into thinking it's healthy, or imply they're hypocritical for drinking diet soda along with their burger meal. But it is better for you than regular soda since it doesn't make you fat and doesn't rot your teeth. There's no evidence of any negative health effects of the zero calorie sweeteners or anything else that's in there. And it tastes better than water. So what exactly is the argument here?

Soda with sugar leaves bad acidic aftertaste, like anything with sugar. Light sodas leave nice sweet aftertaste. Also, if you feel that it lacks taste, Pepsi Max and Cola Zero exist. But I lately switched from Max to Lite, Max feels too intense.
