In Sweden only one State owned chain of stores can sell bottles of alcohol above 3,5%. They have limited open hours and everything is super expensive.

>Finds recommendations on good siping Rum
>Swedish Alcohol store only stockes 34 shitty drink mixing rums
Why is it like this?? We still have more alcoholics than Germany and Finland despite drinking less!

i had a summer job in the bordershop, puttgarden.
It's recommendable, they have vast selection of rum and it's "relatively" cheap.

You don't drink less. Stats just don't account for the consumption of illegal booze.

Good thing you guys are also importing boat loads of Muslims. That should help loosen up those drinking laws.

They have 508 rums retard. You can order any of them to your local Systemet free of charge, usually takes a week to arrive

I live in Pennsylvania. I know all about shitty alcohol laws.
Beer less than a 12 pack can only be sold as carry-out from a bar or restaurant. You can buy as much as you want but you are only allowed to legally carry about 2 "containers" at a time (these being 6-packs, 40s, etc.) So if you want 3, you have to carry 2 to your car, walk back in and carry the last one out separately. Beer 12 packs and over must be sold at a "beer distributor". Essentially a beer store (these are privately owned). All liquor can only be sold at a state store. Every single liquor store in PA is called "Wine and Spirits Shoppe" and these are subjected to shitty hours. Want liquor after 10pm? You're shit out of luck. Want it before 9am? Same thing.

Are you retarded? Seriously, do you have a clinically established mental disorder that inhibits your ability to function normally?
There are 591 different Rums at Systembolaget. How did I figure this out? By going to the webpage and typing in the keyword.

https://www.systembolaget.se/sok/?textQuery=rom

Also, it's not that expensive. Wines are about 20kr (~$2) above 'normal' price due to the alcohol tax, while the size of Systembolaget means that they can buy in huge quantities and thus reduce the price.

OP is a brainlet.

Forgot about liquor stores being closed on Sunday. The laws are extremely outdated and originally intended for a Christian customer base. Unfortunately it's just gotten so out of whack that modifying them would demolish a lot of businesses that survive based on them (ie beer distributors). A lot of places are getting around it through some loopholes. A grocery store can now throw a table and chair in a corner somewhere and claim itself a restaurant so it can sell beer and wine.

Stop crying. Prices here in Finland are way higher, sometimes double, compared to Sweden, and our selection is worse. The only upside is that I can buy normal beer at the store.

Finns travel to Sweden for cheaper alcohol and a different variety than our "beloved" state monopoly Alko. Let that sink in.

Damn, that sucks anon. I grew up in Arkansas and thought that was bad. No alcohol sales on Sunday at all (except in a single town) unless you buy directly from a brewery or distillery. Also dry counties all over the places so you’d usually have to stock up if you were going on a road trip. I live in Missouri now which has some of the best alcohol laws in the country. Literally every gas station here sells liquor.

Hours frankly don't seem bad, are you not able to get to a store between 9am and 10pm? I thought you were going to say something like 9am-5pm like a bank
