Do you wash your chicken before cooking it?

>> No.15847060

>>15847055
No, thats for niggers that have to wipe the semen off of their wallmart chicken

>> No.15847061

>>15847055
no, my chef does it for me

>> No.15847063

>>15847060
But then you'd wash the inside. At least, I presume that is where the semen would be.

Good for you for putting clothes and your watch. You can stop drinking so early anon. I believe in you

no, this causes chicken bacteria to aerosolize and land in your lungs

I rinse my chicken but only because I am white and educated.

>>15847069
no, this is bullshit.

>> No.15847309

I like to wash out the inside of a whole bird because it's full of all that gross gunk, but I don't see the point of washing meat generally. Cooking is to kill the bacteria.

>> No.15847327

Whole chickens yes, for the same reason as >>15847309, chicken parts I don't bother, I'm usually going to end up pat drying them anyway.

>> No.15847352

>>15847055
rinsing chicken is for negros

>> No.15847385

>>15847083
yeah that poster is correct, you're just splashing chicken bacteria everywhere to grow everywhere in your kitchen.
All western factory produced chickens are already clean enough, and even in the countries like the middle east they're slaughtered pretty close to eating time so unless they are slimy don't bother.

At most put it in a brine bath for a while and rub slimy bits off instead of running under water for it to splash everywhere.

Not under the tap like that image, I do put it in a container with vinegar, apparently it makes it more tender or something.

>> No.15847404

why the fuck would you do that? it sprays the chicken bacteria all over everything. thats some third world shit right there.

If you left chicken out of the counter for a while, the bacteria that grows on it is harmful right.

So if you splash water on the outside of it that carries bacteria all over the sink area which does not get cleaned and wiped down often. Usually it doesn't grow far, and the chances of any harm coming from it are extremely slim, but the threat is still there.
It's like not washing your hands after you take a shit, sure you may not get pink eye 99% of the time, but one time you might. Same goes for salmonella and raw chicken bacteria.

>> No.15847483

Why would you rinse it under the faucet? You are probably just making it less safe to eat.

I just eat the chicken raw and have a shot of vodka to sterilize my mouth and throat, the stomach acid will take care of the rest.

Who the fuck lets an unpackaged raw chicken sit on a counter "for a while"?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmonellosis_in_the_United_States
>Salmonellosis annually causes, per CDC estimation, about 1.2 million illnesses, 23,000 hospitalizations, and 450 deaths in the United States every year.
Jesus fucking Christ people. Just how? No wonder it's a meme.

I can understand having a separate cutting board but it's a fucking chicken. How can you fuck it up?
