This is the breakfast I make every morning on an electric skillet at work.

How does it look? How can I improve upon this?

Mostly, it looks bland and a bit boring. I'd prefer to have some cheese or chives on the eggs, maybe a bit of hot sauce, or sausage gravy. Most of all, where's the potatoes. I'd prefer half that sausage, and instead some good hashbrowns, or some nice ripe avocado.

One skillet meal? Try some chilaquiles, or a breadfast burrito. Or layering your breakfast into a nice bagel sandwich.

Wisest post on this entire subreddit right now. A truly healthy person doesn't need to eat anything, let alone grease or preservatives within 5 hours of waking up. As long as you're not going to bed intoxicated, anyway. People would be surprised by how many professional athletes prefer a cup of coffee and a cigarette for breakfast.

Anyway OP here, the general consensus from the this thread seems to be:

>eggs
are fine

>toast
is fine, but slightly unhealthy?

>sausage/turkey bacon
Apparently I'm making too much and need to cut back on it? I can cut the meat in half and replace it with hashbrowns.

Vegetables sound good as well, but I don't know what vegetables are good to make on a skillet and eat for breakfast with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. What do you guys normally make?

I mix up 3 eggs in a cup with some garlic salt and chives plop it down, add some diced peppers, when it starts to solidify on mediumish heat, add two slices of cheese on two slices of bread face(cheese) down on top of the egg. Flip the whole thing over so bread's on the bottom, add black pepper, fold the eggs onto the two slices, once both slices of bread are grilled, flip them onto each other

It's basically eggfort guy except more american. It sounds like a lot of steps but it really takes a few minutes total.

get better bread and a better jam. Only use jam on one of the pieces of bread, and save one piece for combining with your savory stuff. Also make your eggs over-medium and use the non-jam bread to soak up the yolk. Also hot-sauce.
