I've only tried sesame halva but it's already pretty sweet, don't think you'd want to add more sugar. Unless you mean you're going to make it from scratch with honey then that would probably be good.

I used to make something similar too by grinding mixed nuts and raisins or prunes together, was pretty tasty too.

Used to buy хaлвa every couple weeks when I lived in Russia. Great dessert. I'd also buy that sweetened milk in a tube and squeeze that on some black bread. Poverty cake lol
