The 'product research' team at the time I left roughly two years ago was made up of two 18 year olds with no cooking experience and one 42 year old who moved from a different department. There are no professional chefs thinking up the next amazing item, they shove random ingredients onto pizzas and try them and see if people in the building enjoy it. The 18 year olds also get to name it once they have a winner, thus 'The Cheeseburger' and 'Absolute Banger'. I actually quite like the cheeseburger pizza though.
