Lolno, uneducated seething nigger. We already had spices out the ass from the silk road. We traded guns and gunpowder for your worthless loser ancestors so that the giganiggas who enslaved them in Africa could continue to kill each other, and so we could have ez mode agriculture and mining, because the fucking pussy natives were too bitchmade to do intense labor.
TLDR we brought your worthless ass to this country for cotton, tobacco, sugar, and gold, now we have to deal with your burden of a genetic line for eternity as punishment.

Racebaiting aside, it is really funny how many modern european crops, even pre-columbian ones, originated from the middle east or even further. And speaking as a german, many have names derived from their latin name, showing that they were imported by either the romans or, much later, latin-speaking monks, from the mediterranean. Many of them had to be bred for the colder climates (often by monks as well) before they could be cultivated economically.
On the other hand, it has to be remembered that those new plants often replaced older, similar plants of lower yield. Potatoes replaced parsnips and rutabagas for example, which are native to europe. It's really not surprising - europe is a small place with a comparably small diversity of biomes, so it houses equivalently few plants that happen to be useful for cultivation.

>> No.15705620

Reading comprehension anon. I was paraphrasing him. And while there are obviously not "none", the vast majority of crops really didn't originate from europe.
