Do you prefer a two thin patties or one big patty?

>> No.15638705

One. I cant do two anymore. Seems overwhelming for some reason

one big patty if I'm making it myself

Single normal size.
Too much meat ruins the balance of a burger. A burger should be balanced around condiments enhancing the flavor of the meat, with too much patty your mouth is filled with nothing but the taste of meat which defeats the balance of a hamburger.

A hamburger is the perfect representation of America and the patty is white people. While it is the origin and an important part of it, it should not make up the majority of the flavors in a burger.

I greatly prefer sliders to big burgers.

Big patties are a meme, if you wanna eat a big chonk of meat, then get a steak. I like small portions of meat: 80g to 12g of meat so i can also enjoy my chips.

If I'm doing a half-pound or more, I prefer two patties - more surface area for browning and seasoning, so more flavour. 6oz or less is fine as one patty.

I'd rather have two singles than a double. I don't like when the balance meat/bread is not respected. You can as well eat overcooked ground beef on its own if that's what you want.

One when cooking at home or eating a more expensive burger, but I would prefer two thinner ones at a more casual place.

excellent bait, nice and subtle. almost had me. have a (You)

Two thin patties has more grilled and charred surface area which I like in my burgers. I like big fat bloody steaks, but for burgers a thick burger just ends up tasting under seasoned

2 patties, doesn't matter the size always 2 patties

2 burgers, 1 medium sized patty per, cheese and any other toppings are welcome

>> No.15641221

thick patty. If you have quality ground beef, you will get much more flavors from a medium rare cook than from a burnt ass thin patty. You get to sear thicc at high temperature while keeping the center juicy and soft.

>> No.15641278

Two small ones. I'm over the gourmet burger with a thick patty unless I'm cooking at home on a grill

>> No.15641377

thick has a higher ceiling but two thin patties is more consistent

>> No.15641410

Anyone who answers multiple thin patties obviously prefers well done beef to a good medium rare patty and their opinion is therefore irrelevant.
With this invariant, it becomes clear that the question itself is pointless, since the only answer you can ever get is "one big".
The correct answer exists, it's one patty, and posting this question is a waste of a thread.
