Rice is cooked, so are the cup noodles and egg. I also have some salt but I use so little in a meal that it would at most add a penny a day.

I think so. I eat a big serving of rice, and drink a lot of water and still feel full at the end of the day.

Breakfast:
Random Hotpocket about $1.50
Coffee brewed at home for pennies on the dollar

Lunch:
Salad with whatever leftover protein I have in the fridge. Couple bucks worth of ingredients. If I get sick of salad I add two pieces of bread and make it a sandwich for negligible change in cost.

Dinner:
Chicken breast, pork chop or cheap cut of steak with some type of grain or starch and veg. $5ish bucks I'd guess depending on the protein.

Let's call it 8-10 bucks a day.

But usually my meals are structured like that. I typically make a big yield meal on Sunday and eat that for 5 or 6 meals.

My weekly food cost for 2 adults is about $120 and includes household stuff like paper products or pet food.

Right now I'm spending just under $10 a day on food, but I drink a ton of La Croix, so let's say $12. When working and drinking, along with the beers I drink at home, probably $40 a day.

Lunch
>skip it 2-5 times a week

Basically I’m intermittent fasting. I don’t like wasting my calories on food I don’t absolutely love, and i hate eating during the day and feeling tired or bloated. I get to stuff my face and eat what I want while maintaining a good bmi. Somewhat scared it’s bad for me, but i feel worse when I’m always eating throughout the day.
