Others are far better. Not necessarily "less fishy", but "fishy in a good way" instead of "something is fishy here".

Starch also helps, if you're not used to the intensity of oily fish. Something to cleanse the palate and absorb any excess bile. Bread, crackers, rice, pasta... there is probably a way to make potatoes compliment deenz, but I can't think of it.

I'm still finding canned fish a challenge. Can't stand the mushy cardboard texture - unavoidable because at the cannery it's cooked for 25 min at 100 degrees c. with the can upside down so all the juices drain out, replaced with tomato sauce, oil or water which does not really improve things (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FA10i1tBq0 )

The first can of deenz I had was off-putting, I wasn't used to eating fish that wasn't sushi or catfish desu. My fear of it made me not enjoy my first can, but after getting drunk and eating a can of deenz by itself, I must say that I am impressed.
The first can I had was of King Oscar's DEENZ in jalapenos, an anon recommended that I make a pita sandwich with cream cheese and hot sauce. That was good but I prefer eating them with crackers and a bit of tabasco now. I just ate a can of Bumblebee deenz (I intentionally chose them after reading earlier today that they were bad, I wanted to experience what "bad" deenz were like) and it wasn't bad. Now I'm thinking about getting some Nuri deenz online just to experience the opposite end of the spectrum.

Hey, as long as it's non-cola carbonated soda, you can treat yourself to soda without worry about kidney damage. Obviously sweeteners in soda is another mine-field.

Drinking 2 or more colas per day was associated with increased risk of chronic kidney disease (adjusted odds ratio = 2.3; 95% confidence interval = 1.4 –3.7). Results were the same for regular colas (2.1; 1.3–3.4) and artificially sweetened colas (2.1; 0.7–2.5). Noncola carbonated beverages were not associated with chronic kidney disease (0.94; 0.4 –2.2).

Except, they're not "bad", they're just not consistently good. Noticeable quality variance between batches, and "good" bumblebee isn't nearly as good as average KO.
The base level deenz are actually quite mild in flavor, connoisseurs tending to prefer a more robust little oily fish flavor and firmer texture.

Sardines...

>I used to eat them before work all the time.
>Because they were only a dollar and i could eat them in the car with a plastic fork.
>And since i work outside i figured no one would smell it.
>One day it was like +90° outside and i wasnt feeling good so i ate my normal can
>and a secomd can because it was but one get one free.
>I felt a burp but it for caught in my throat
>and my boss walked up as i stuck my finger in my throat to pop the burp
>and i threw up on him so he punched me in the face and took my extra shirt.

We still work together but im not allowed to eat sardines anymore.

None of them do? Around me, the kroger only carries boneless/skinless, mediterranean, and regular but publix has them with vinegar/capers and jalapenos.

Nah. Hyvee only has KO in olive oil and olive oil with peppers. The other places don't carry KO or only have the olive oil. I ended up getting a tin of the chicken of the sea brand deenz in mustard this week since I wanted to try that kind of flavor.

China got full. They stopped importing most special garbage.
Probably going to a South Carolina landfill now, until we can convince a good christian nigerian prince of upstanding character to take it.

Just had a can of Polar smoked brislings.
Very good.

Here:

It's a chili-garlic sauce from Asia that you can get commonly here in Canadia, called Sambal.

Just had some earlier for the first time and it was pretty good. Put the spicy oil in the can in the pan, fried some onion and garlic, then deenz and eggs on top.
