As for your second drink asking for something upside down simply reverses the process in which it is made, for example, a caramel macchiato has the espresso shots poured in last, they sit on top of the drink in the normal recipe, if you asked for the drink to be made upside down I'd pour the shots in first. I don't really see the benefit of making your second drink upside down, I don't think it'd ad much, if anything.

Frappuccino's are some of the more annoying drinks to make, it's not really that annoying to make one, it's when I have to make 10 of them, each one different and all of them in the drive through. I also don't really see the point of ordering the Caramel ribbon crunch over just a normal caramel frappuccino, I don't think the whip at the bottom of the cup adds much of anything to the overall drink.

Former Starbs-anon again, I remember this shit too. They'd always test to see what is the minimum threshold of employees they could have at peak hours without it being TOO fucked. Our menus are confusing and I think it's one of the worst things about the company, they do a horrible job at explaining what they offer or how to order it, mobile app helps customers understand what we have. Next time just go to a Starbucks and order "Just a (size of drink here) coffee", tell them to leave room or add cream, the barista will know what you mean and do the rest. We also have multiple types of drip coffees from around the world, but the vast majority of them are really only available to customers in the morning, Pike is most likely what you'll end up getting.

A year or two ago I tried those store bought refrigerated starbucks frappes that come in the glass bottle and I thought it was delicious, so maybe one day I'll venture into a starbucks for the coffee that's supposedly a milkshake.
