I can get by comfortably on $7/day for groceries.
I can do quite well on $10/day.
I can subsist on $3/day, and still be above maruchan tier.

This includes buying all bottled water (around $0.80/gallon). If I had a faucet, costs would be lower.

A lot of people fall into the trap of paying someone else to do basic tasks they could do for themselves, despite an inability to afford it. A fundamental fallacy here is that they can afford it, because the charge card didn't get declined, exacerbated by never making a meal more complicated than spaghettios and tendies.

I find it pretty silly that they consider the 5 layer to be a "starter" when it's their best menu item and is sold at a premium these days. Imagine getting a Nacho Fries box and starting with the 5 layer and taco before moving onto the 10 soggy fries and cold nacho cheese sauce.

Not really. It's meant to hold down the lid of your cup noodles while they're cooking, but I'm too cheap to buy instant noodles that are packaged in their own serving vessel. This is the first time I've ever got one of these actual boxes from Taco Bell, by the way. They always just threw it in a bag (or two) before now. I don't like the boxes; they're a pain to dispose of once they start stacking up.
