This stuff will be the death of me someday. I don't see how any reasonable person stick to 2500mg of it a day. I EASILY can go over 10,000mg a day just with sunflower seeds alone. Forget if I'm eating ramen or need to spice up some kind of dish. Even a small beef stew has me adding beef bouillon cubes so it doesn't suck. I just don't get it. Are we meant to live a tasteless bland lifestyle, or am I just selfish and don't mind feeling a little swollen when I wake up sometimes?

My uncle had his aorta dissect. Apparently 80% mortality rate. He lived because his family was there and medics came quick. Described it as the life draining out of him.

Anyway. He is not allowed to have much sodium, doctor orders. Based off of that i watch my sodium intake, because its obviously crtical for heart health

2.5 g of sodium = 6.0 g of common salt and even more of low sodium salt.

Follow my logic here, but salt is water soluble right? So if the danger is having too high concentration of salt in your body, wouldn’t the easiest way to lower this concentration (without changing your diet) be to drink a lot of water?

You literally just have to drink more water with whatever the hell you’re eating. It’s not like fucking Mercury.

The salt is still there though, just because its water soluble doesn't mean it changes anything. Sugar is also water soluble, should we chug a bunch of that too? Salt literally crystallizes your arteries and that is why it is horrible for your cardiovascular system, ON TOP of increasing blood pressure. Go chug a bunch of salt before bed and tell me how you don't feel like a drum is beating in your chest.

MSG, and also potassium chloride blends.
KCl tastes like shit but you can sneak it in relatively unnoticed if you do it right, and still get a well seasoned dish with less sodium.

That's bullshit and you're a fucking retard. There is no reason to avoid sodium unless you have a predisposition to it. If you are active it is actually important that you intake enough sodium in addition to drinking enough water.

You didn't address anything I've said. So if I ingest a bunch of sodium everyday I'll be just fine right? Anonymous on 4chan said so.

Literally no it doesn't. Quiet yourself, retard.

Well the CDC disagrees with you. Thank god anonymous on 4chan is here to prove the CDC wrong though.

The CDC has been batting a million hasn't it? Maybe nutrition science is bloated and kind of fucking retarded
