That’s kinda sad actually. I live here, and I absolutely loathe living here, but some of the cities are (by their own rights) totally worthwhile to explore and take some time in, and a lot of the countryside is just beautiful (where it isn’t ruined by development). The national parks are fucking awesome and even a lot of smaller parks have sick mountain bike trails. The mountains are an absolute magnificent hike too, and there’s a lot of very high peaks to get a nice view of landscape. Some of the more “””secret””” beaches are fucking beautiful and have amazing waves depending on the time of year. (you didn’t hear it from me, but thousand steps beach and crystal cove beach are a million times better than the evermore popular laguna, Huntington, Long Beach).
TL;DR don’t, DON’T, (I repeat a third time, DO FUCKING NOT) move to California but you should definitely plan a trip based on your interests.

I'd assume one of the US Fatburger locations. Same shit in Canada is $16 in leafmoney, which is around $12.50 in burgerbucks.

I miss places where you looked at the menu in line and ordered before you even sat at your table. Made eating out feel like an experience. Plus salad bars in general.
