My first reaction is to assume you never dosed the gabapentinoids high enough, most people I’ve met that don’t like them haven’t taken enough of them or they take them wrong. A decent, manageable high for me @ 160lbs is about 5g gabapentin. If I’m looking to get fucked up I’d take 7-8g. Pregab was around 1.5-2.1g for equivalent effects. You need to take them on an empty stomach(fuck the fat solubility), and you need to take whatever you plan on dosing all at once. It’s literally psychedelic for me at these doses, though I had a friend who would take upward of 11-12g of gabapentin when we we felt like doing it. Way better than alcohol in every way.
