The quarter pounder pattie is thick enough to make a decent burger and you do not get a mouthful of bread like the big mac does. If you do not want to confuse the person taking your order , say this:

Quarter Pouder with Cheese
No Ketchup
No Mustard
Add Lettuce
Add Big Mac sauce

This is how they enter it in the register so it is damn near impossible for them to fuck it up if you order it this way. They also tend to go crazy on the big mac sauce on any sandwich where it isn't standard, which is great.
