parmesan straight up has acid compounds in it that taste like vomit if you don't grow up eating it
i can appreciate parmesan. i will use it to cook for other people. i understand its culinary use. i physically cannot eat it without feeling disgust

I can only think of two instances where that's decent: popcorn and on Little Caesars. The latter is mostly for nostalgia as when I was younger I'd get a Hot 'N Ready and load it up with red peppers and shitty parmesan.

also if that's problem for you, you can get rennet that's made with enzymes from bacteria/fungi

I like just enough parmesan to enhance the flavour of a dish but I'd never make a parmesan grilled cheese
