I just use a thermos brand thermos for my coffee and find it works wonderfully. It doesn't impart any taste or anything.

I have heard that old thermoses(or whatever brand) actually used glass, so you might want to look into that.

also buy a japanese thermos and don't skimp on the price

you dont fill the entire cup, if a single serving is 3 tbsp of liquid of course you dont fill the cup. caffeine content doesnt change depending on the amount of water you use.

Stainless works fine but put a dishwasher tablet into it when it needs cleaning and pour some boiling water in over it and let it sit overnight.

Rinse it out and it is as new again :D
