Replace cream with BBQ sauce.

my post could be about BBQ sauce too, almost everyone makes it like a sugar paste

>> No.15416990

It's a good Palate cleanser I guess, good with heavy foods, especially fried.

I use dry. I cook it into egg rolls, based for sauces, filler, texture. KFC had good creamslaw back in the day.

Having something cold, crunchy, sweet, sour as a contrast to the hot, smokey, fatty meat.

my brother loved it.

It's good, I think I'm gonna make a batch later actually. Haven't had any since grill season

don't eat it like that.
eat it like the krauts, either sauerkraut or cabbage salad:
-slice half a cabbage
-put some salt on it and squish it
-fry some bacon, onion and garlic
-deglaze it with beef broth
-let your broth cool and the cabbage exert it's liquid
-marinate the salad, add some vinegar and pepper
-add a little caraway if you don't have the tastebuds of a child

I didn’t get it as a kid, thought slaw was pretty bad. But my taste buds are always changing and I think it’s quite tasty these days. It just works.

This guy gets it. Usually coleslaw is soggy and limp af though, the best stuff is crisp

>> No.15419650

>>15416878
what's wrong with that

>> No.15420827

It's a very high-IQ side that can go with anything when made properly, unfortunately 99% of the slaw you get in america is basically mayo soup with a few flecks of minced cabbage and carrots in it. A good slaw is thick cut and crunchy and uses oil/vinegar, though there are some decent mayo-based recipes, but it won't use NEARLY that much.

I only ever put it on hot dogs. It's annoying because you can only either buy a whole fucking head or a pound of shredded cabbage and almost all of it goes to waste because I only need a few spoonfuls to put on 3 hotdogs.

NC fags claim chili/slaw dog as their own creation and it really pisses me off.

I love coleslaw. If I'd have to choose one dish I'd have to eat for the rest of my life it'd be coleslaw.

>> No.15421008

Well "the thing" is, it's delicious. You can spot any pleb by giving them the coleslaw test. I won't date a woman who can't eat KFC coleslaw.
