Pozole>menudo

I had some pozole made by my mexican neighbor. They made too much and gave us the leftovers. I'll give their culture the benefit of the doubt and say my neighbors were just bad cooks, but that soup was disgusting. Uneven, different sized pieces of tripe, all chewy. Tons of fucking pork bones, big and small all over the soup.

I absolutely cannot stand the smell when they cook it and I do not trust any restaurant in Mexico on how they prepare it. I’ll likely only eat it once a year and that’s only if my mom prepares it.

Tbh I feel the same way, but I prefer green pozole than the red, I’ll eat that more times than menudo.
