Be thankful that decent and better priced corporate bakeries exists in Britbongland. In Australia, we have the barely edible supermarket stuff, Bakers delight(same shit quality) and hipster bougie bakeries charging 5 dollars for a croissant and 8 dollars for a loaf of bread. I dont know what happened to all the family run Italian, Greek and Turkish bakeries that made a decent loaf of bread at reasonable prices but theyre all gone from my area. I have to go to one of the last old italian enclaves for a decent woodfired Chibatti. The long commute is Worth it tho. I miss poor and industrious traditional italian immigrants bros.
