Rib roast are pricey everywhere. However that is too steep for choice grade. Should be closer to $10-$12/lb

The weight is literally right fucking there on the package. It's a bit pricey per pound, but not insane for choice boneless ribeye roast. We had select grade on sale for less than $6/pound here recently (Texas). Choice is about what >>15359392 said and a prime rib roast can be close to $20 or more per pound.

3.66 pounds is a lot of meat.

Ok, retard. It's priced by the pound. It's not like you would have paid $14.50/lb if it was a 4.66 lb roast vs. a 3.66 lb roast.

Anyway, beef roasts are always comparatively expensive so I wait for them to go on sale. A choice ribeye roast at the grocery store near me is about $11.99/lb. But that's still too expensive for me so either I'll wait or I'll just buy chuck or broil when it's on sale for $3.50/lb or $7.00/lb respectively

>tfw you get multiple high quality locally farmed beef roasts for less than 5$ per lb because you buy wholesale because only cucks don't have chest freezers.

The supply chains are fucked. This is probably the last shipment of meat grocery stores will be getting.

lol guess they better gas all the livestock

Most of the livestock had to be disposed of because the processing plants couldn't be staffed due to covid outbreaks. If one person was sick the whole plant had to be shut down otherwise the product would be compromised.

Doubtful. Unless you're buying what your supplier would otherwise be forced to sell as standard or commercial grade.
