It happened in my area during the Golden age of the Wendy's dollar menu. My local franchise owner (Some chinese guy) didn't want to take part in the promotion even tho the ads would run on tv every day.

That said nobody on YouTube has made a review video yet. Only videos up are from people who are upset that their local BK didn't have the deal. It seems like nobody on social media has confirmed that they were able to get the deal yet.

I went back today, and asked for the Dollar Menu Cheeseburger with bacon, and the manager still wanted to charge me full price. I showed her the promo on my phone, and she said that it must be an "expired app deal" We argued for like four minutes.

I was about to leave when I looked up at the menu, and the fucking deal was on one of their tv screens. I took a picture of it, and pointed it out to her. She didn't want to admit she was retarded, and justified her actions by saying "You asked for a cheeseburger with bacon, and the burger on the dollar menu is called the bacon cheeseburger." I surprisingly didn't feel the urge to smack her across the face as I now knew that she was too retarded to function. I told her that it's the same thing, and to just please place the order.
