I want to buy farm raised, cleaned and butchered rabbits. The guy who sells them at my local farmer's market no longer goes to sell there. I don't know much about farms and I don't want to trap or shoot a neighborhood rabbit (I think they would taste bad since they just eat anything.) Is there a place to find where certain foods are sold by proximity?

Go to different farmers markets, or ask your guy whose quitting if he knows someone.

The fucking lame assed stupidity of some of the posts in this forum is exceeded only by the absurd levels of the OP's hopefulness of getting a valid or useful reply.

I'll definitely do this when I live on my own in a house but my parents would not be happy about it right now, and my landlords when I go back to college wouldn't like it either

If you live in the suburbs:
>get pellet gun
>get lawn chair
>get some beer
>leave bait in back yard
If you're in an urban environment, substitute rabbit for cat, the steps are basically the same.

You may want to rethink that. When you slaughter rabbits, they eerily scream like a human.

No, they don't. One well aimed karate chop and they're out wihtout a whisper. Or at least that's how my nan used to do it.

I just started raising them for slaughter in my backyard this summer. Get three cages and follow suit.

I am now accepting questions

Just go into the woods and shoot one. They're most active at sunup and sundown. I'd recommend 20ga #7 shot

That would blow it apart or at the very least you'd be picking pellets out of the meat for an hour. Use a .22, ffs, or are your marksmanship skills only at the level of 95% of /k/ and you can't hit the broad side of a barn from 30 paces?
