I'm looking for pizza burgers. There was this place in Arkansas that made em. It tasted nothing like pizza. It was a big fried patty filled with meat, cheese and other fixings. Any ideas?

There was a sub shop in the town I grew up that made a pepperoni pizza sub sandwich - honestly one of the best non-traditional subs I've ever had. Grilled pepperoni slices, pizza sauce, grated cheese (my guess is mozzarella), mushrooms and (optional) onions. I've not been able to perfectly duplicate it at home, but I think that's due to specific spices in the sauce.
