If a guy arrives with a girl, chances are he's leaving with her.
If the guy is waiting for the girl, 50%
If the girl is waiting for the guy- he's late.

Doesn't seem to matter- it's just an initial awkwardness because social rules are no longer set.
A lot of women don't want to feel like they owe a guy something straight away, in places where people order rounds or have a host culture it's a non-issue.
Girls don't get guys drunk unless they want sex, I don't know why. Often it's more attractive women who do it, and the guy is rarely ugly but often younger.
If a guy asks a girl if she wants to do a tequila shot and she does, they go home together almost every time.
