na, that sandwich wouldn't have it to broadcast if she hadn't died. The only redeeming value for that sandwich is the sentimental value jacque had.

most of the dishes on his channel are really simple/easy shit, it's mostly for making dishes out of random stuff you have in your kitchen/pantry

Sadly no.

There is this delayed realization. When someone really close to you dies, there is this period of limbo, where you know the person is gone for ever, you acknowledge it but haven't really processed it. It might take days, weeks or even months for a person to actually realize that you are never going to see your loved one ever again, until this it might even seem an illusion. It seems af your loved one is travelling or on a business trip. For older people, they usually await the day they are going to meet.
For younger people it is catastrophic.

Yeah, your mind doesn't entirely internalize. After me mum died, I'd suddenly be thinking of making one of my favorite dishes she used to make and happily thought I'd call her and get the recipe. Then it hits you like a pile of bricks and you just collapse and weep.

Howard Johnson's wasn't exactly avant garde cuisine.
Just good; nice but not too fancy.

Italian seasoning fits perfectly, where herbes de provence would not.

>happily thought I'd call her and get the recipe.
I hear about this once a year from an older uncle of mine. He'd always call his older sister around the holidays to get one of her recipes even though he knew how to make it. It was just an excuse to call and it just became an annual tradition. He cries every year when he makes her recipe.
