Because Justin Trudeau is an absolute nightmare disaster for their country's heritage, culture and sovereignty.

canadans lack taste buds
also, the american food manufacturing industry conscribed the cia to infiltrate canadan institutions and media to implant in the minds of canadans the superiority american-made cheese-like products

People in washington do this too
You get used to it after a while. Absolute nightmare with kraft but pretty good with nice mac and cheese

I don't really care for shitty cheesaroni by itself. But when combined with shitty beefaroni (dinty moore fake beef stew that is basically hunks tv dinner tier salisbury steak) somehow, magically. It becomes comfort food.

They also put ketchup on eggs, I couldn't believe it.

These faggot leafs have french fries, gravy, and cheese as a national dish. Niggers in Africa eating dirt pies have more creativity than the niggers up above us that pretend to be nice.

it's mostly for kids as a cheap staple, but the price has gone up a lot and it's actually a lot less common
you used to be able to feed a family for the price of a couple ramen packets, now its more of a nostalgia thing
classic 1 pot canadian meal
kd
pork hot dogs
boil until pasta is ready
take out hot dogs and put on plate, cut into bite sized pieces
drain pasta, put back into pot
mix the cheese powder into the still damp pasta, using bagged milk to adjust consistency
mix cut up hotdogs into the pot, mixed veg goes well as a side
ketchup drizzled across it adds a nice tang

personally i'm partial to a can of tomato soup in mixed into a pot of kd, comes out very creamy and delicious

>>15194080
only people who can't make decent eggs do that, usually the same dudes that refuse to eat vegetables and put total ass quality hot sauce on everything

grocery prices are universally pretty bad, just no where near as bad as nunavut.
it's just kraft being greedy, they've lowered the quality as well.
other brands like presidents choice taste better and cost 0.88cad a box to krafts 1.65cad
when it can take 2 boxes for a quick lunch it adds up to the point you could make a real lunch
these prices are from nofrills, which is probably the best grocery store for prices generally.
even comparing the bulk pack there is no benefit to buying kd over pc
poverty is pretty common in canada, a lot of regions just simply only have minimum wage jobs, it's still quite livable but theres a lot of things that add up making it expensive to be canadian, even if you don't live in regions where you need to pay for the airplane fuel
in the winter logistics can be shut down entirely between the east and the west by getting a snow storm anywhere between Kenora and Calgary for a week causing all sorts of delays in both delivery and production
we're just very spread out over a lot of land, powerlines can go down for long periods of time too and relatively frequently in areas, which just further stapled a cheap shelf staple into canadian cupboards since all you need to do is boil a bit of water and even the most incapable boomers can manage that if they're living in a rural area

>2 boxes for a quick lunch
How big is a box in Canada? In America one box is like 900-1000 calories.

how much is chicken per lb?

the canadian ones are a little bigger by grams
2 boxes would assume a few kids and a bit for an adult
i could easily eat one box to myself
in the states one box is 750 calories by the box, in canada its 840, I don't know why they contain a little bit more up here but its always sort of been like that
>>15194800
varies largely by region and chain, we do have a pretty big meat industry after all, though this year is a bit screwed up, most things are priced in grams so its a bit screwy to do comparisons
but im seeing 3.17 cad per pound for drum sticks and 1.67cad for whole leg which includes part of the spine and really just a lot of inedible material, 3.39cad for thighs
so with all the annoying conversion out of the way
drum sticks 2.48usd /lb
whole leg 1.30usd /lb
thigh 2.65usd /lb

walmarts precooked chicken breast is all 9cad/kg or 4.08/lb which puts it cheaper than nofrills uncooked 12.72cad/kg absolutely absurd
not the greatest chicken mind you but having a bag of that stuff on hand its great when you just want a little bit of meat into something like rice, could be a lot worse
